Buying Your First Home

Avoid Rookie Mistakes!

When buying a home for the first time there are a lot of factors to consider. You don’t want to jump in feet first. Knowing which steps to take and when will give you a leg up on the competition.

Did you know that 74% of renters want to buy a home, but are afraid they won’t qualify so they don’t even try?

Did you know that after three years of selling a property, and not making another purchase, you can qualify as a first time home buyer again?

Did you know that, on average, homebuyers rent for six years before buying? And the average age of a first-time buyer is 32.5 years old?

There is a very good chance that you qualify for home buying assistance and don’t even realize it, especially if you’re a first-time buyer. There are tons of federal and state programs available. You won’t know what you qualify for if you don’t look, and asking questions won’t cost you a thing! Buying a home can be intimidating, but there are plenty of people who can help!

My goal is to help guide you along the complex financial path of home buying, which is why I invite you to attend my next webinar, Buying Your First Home, on Friday, January 31st at 4:00 pm MST.

During this experience, you will learn about different first time home buyer programs you may qualify for, how much you should save, and what lenders use to determine if you qualify for a loan.

Don’t Buy into the Myths!

There are many myths about home buying adding to the challenge of navigating the home buying process. Learn the truth and don’t let the following myths keep you from accomplishing your dream of owning your home.

“Only people who make a lot of money can afford a house these days.”
“I don’t have a perfect credit score, so I can’t get a house.”
“If I buy with a bad credit score, I’ll be stuck with bad interest rates for 30 years.”
“Single people can’t own houses by themselves.”
“I’m too old and it's too late for me to buy a home.”
“It’s impossible to save enough for a 20% down payment.”
“Renting is cheaper and buying is no longer a good investment.”

None of these statements are true! I’d like to invite you to an experience (Buying Your First Home) that will explain how you can own your own home and what steps to take for success.
